We love to try new speakers in our house. We listen to audio books and the toddler loves having a portable speaker for when she is rocking out. This one has to be the cutest we have had.
The Xsboom Bluetooth Speaker is the smallest I have seen, and the image on Amazon shows it as the size of a chicken egg. I think that is pretty accurate... eggs of course varying somewhat.. lol
I love the small drawstring bag that comes with it. There is enough room in the bag to hold the speaker and the 2 cables that come with it. And speaking of cords, there is of course a charging cord- it is a 3.5 mm to usb so it can be charged on a laptop or regular charger.
But what I adore about a bluetooth speaker is the ability to use it with a non bluetooth device. For example, my old ipod. Literally- I have 2 of those tiny ones that I use for my daughter's music. She can hear the tunes on headphones or now on this cute little speaker.
And if you are wondering, yes- I did hand this to a toddler to use. She has been carting it around for about a week and it is just as good as new- the toddler test has been passed. I call that a sturdy speaker.
I was also able to easily get it to sync to my Samsung 3 and it had great service this way. Sound was great- no buzzing or interference.
The sound is good when you consider how tiny this little guy is. You will definitely want it upright and on a good surface though or you will suffer some sound loss, but any speaker is that way I think. I tried Sublime, Pink Floyd, Metallica... all sounded great this morning. We are rocking!
I thought the price was a bit high for a portable speaker but I suspect the sound is better than the competition on cheaper models. If you want quality you must pay for it!
Overall, I am very pleased with the Xsboom Bluetooth Speaker. I think I might hide it away from the toddler now though, and keep it for myself!
Thanks for letting us try it out.
