Baby Comfy Nose Nasal Aspirator Review and Giveaway

Baby Comfy Nose Nasal Aspirator Review and Giveaway

Disclosure: I received a free product in exchange for my honest review.

We have had quite a run of colds of late, so we were pretty excited to get approved to try the Baby Comfy Nose Nasal Aspirator. I have always wanted something like this, but for whatever reason, I never bought one.

Now we are in the land of the toddlers- so I wanted to see if we could get away with a little nasal aspiration.

First off- how does this contraption work?

It uses your own suction to quickly remove nasal mucous. This is a much stronger pull than the battery powered devices, so you can get more out faster..  It is safe too!

I think on the surface, this sounds pretty ooky.. I mean- won't the boogers end up in my mouth? Well, the folks that made this understand that we don't want to eat mucous, no matter how great of a mom or dad we might be.. They engineered this thing to never put your mouth in contact with the mucous.

All you do is wad up some tissue and insert it in the chamber, and all the yuck will end up there!

Then you put the new born or standard tip in the little ones nose, and the other end in you mouth.. give it a good suck or two, and the mucous comes right out. No messing about wiping and hoping sleep will come. The stuff comes out!

No need to worry about losing the parts, because they give you a tiny mesh bag to keep everything in once you have cleaned it all up. It hangs up all together to dry.

So what was our experience with the Baby Comfy Nose Nasal Aspirator?

Well, the toddler and her dad were quite intrigued. She carried the package around for days before we got to use it.

"It sucks my boogas momma."

The enthusiasm was there. Daddah decided to try it first.

The toddler was having none of this in her nose though. She did make him suck out his own boogas.

Apparently there is some skill involved in this action. Removing ones own boogers is maybe best done with a kleenex..

We were not able to coax the toddler into letting us get her boogas out though. Now- she is almost 3, and is definitely not the target audience for this device. She can blow her nose.. but we wanted to try anyway.

I really do wish we had had this when she was younger though. The design is simple and it is quiet too.

Overall, I am very pleased with this device. I think I will be sanitizing it and giving it to a friend with a baby so they can use it the right way!
