Stewart Dental Treats Review

Stewart Dental Treats Review

Disclosure: I received a free sample of this product in exchange for my honest review.

We have a really great dog, and we love to give her healthy treats- so we were very happy to get approved to review the cheese flavored Stewart Dental Treats.

My dog is a combo of a basset hound and a German shepherd. Because she has those stubby little legs, we are always wary of giving her treats or food that will cause her to become overweight. We are fortunate that she is not a food over eater- but MAN she will eat toddler crayons and toys like you wouldn't believe.

We have the toddler give her treats though, and she loves it.

When we broke out the bag of cheese flavored Stewart Dental Treats, the dog knew it was for her. I don't know if she could smell it  or if  she heard us talking about it.. but she was jumping around like a crazy.

This of course got the toddler crazy too. She is very motivated to test dog products with us.

The dog inhaled a few treats. She didn't sniff around or poke at them.. she literally devoured them in a single swoop. I suspect this means she liked them. The toddler would have been content to feed her the whole bag, but we were able to pry them away and keep them for other days.

The test was a pass. No doubt.

So- aside from the fantastic dog approval, do they meet the Mamma approval?

YES!  The stinky mouthed dog had a noticeable improvement in her dog breath after trying these.

(She doesn't have horrible dog breath, but it is enough that I avoid her vigorous exhales.. lol.)

Mamma also approves that these are low fat. As I said, we can't really let her get overweight because of the stress on her joints, so it is nice to know these are healthy!

The makers of cheese flavored Stewart Dental Treats sent us a list of features:

  • Wheat and gluten free
  • Low fat, low calorie treat
  • Textured to help scrape plaque and stimulate gums
  • Three flavors that dogs love
  • Perfectly sized for a quick reward right from your pocket
  • Great value – up to 200 treats per container
If you have a choosey dog, or you want your dog to have a different flavor you can try the cheese, mint or blueberry!

Overall, we were very happy with the cheese flavored Stewart Dental Treats. I am sure if you asked my dog, she would love to try the other flavors as well!

Thanks so much to Stewart Dental Treats for letting us try these.
