Wearever Mattress Pad Review and Giveaway

Wearever Mattress Pad Review and Giveaway

I have a toddler and a dog, so I am always looking for new ways to protect furniture in my house from oops's and OHMY's. I was very pleased to be approved for a Wearever Mattress Pad review.

I selected the Quilted Plaid Incontinence Pad from their great selection of mattress pads.

Now, I have water proof covers on all the mattresses in our house. They are great for small amounts of moisture, but they are not 100% protective. I like to have an extra layer on top anyway, so if there is a leak, I don't need to remove the fussy cover in the middle of the night.

A pad like this is really great for a quick placement and removal when leaks occur. I can put this on top of the sheets as well. If the toddler crawls into my bed, she can be on this pad or I can move it under her easily, just in case.

I would not use this on top of sheets with a younger child, but my daughter is old enough to sleep with a blanket now, so it is ok for her.

At 34x36 it is perfect for us- it covers a decent amount of sleeping space, but it isn't terribly cumbersome.

I also have been using it on the giant bean bag we have in the living room. Toddler naps are spur of the moment, so I can get this under her quickly and easily and protect the bean bag chair!

The Wearever Mattress Pad that I picked is a nice plaid design. It looks like a typical throw, but when you look at it closely, you can see the layers that make it up- it is thick and substantial- perfect for keeping leaks off of furniture.

It looks soft and fuzzy like a blanket!

Since it is 80% cotton outer layer with a 20% Unique-Dri™ inner core, the softness comes out easily. But, it is also sturdy and it can be machine washed/dried over 200 times according to the manufacturer. I have not had it long enough to wash it 200 times, but I have washed it about 6 times...still looks like new.

It really has a nice appearance, and I do not mind having it in my living room!

The pad is soft enough that this toddler likes to lay on it;)
