Algae Omega and Vegetarian Baby's DHA Review & Giveaway
We are super huge fans of Nordic Naturals in our house. I was excited to try 2 new products- Alpha Omega and Vegetarian Baby's DHA.
We are not vegetarian in our home, but I am always interested in formulas that are, just to give additional options for our diets.
These 2 formulas are both 100% vegetarian- this is great because even vegans can now enjoy EPA supplements that traditionally are fish based.
So if the DHA is not made of fish, what is it made of?
Microalgae is a plant-based source of beneficial marine omega-3s. It offers all the EPA and DHA that other supplements for vegetarians cannot.
Well, we all know that babies and toddlers that are learning about food, are not always eating the way we would like.
Why would I add these supplements to a healthy diet?
I know my daughter is kind of picky some days. She is very willing to try just about anything, but she won't eat even her favorite foods some days.
That is the toddler life- so adding a supplement that supports normal vision, a healthy heart, immunity and a positive mood is super important to us!
Is it safe and sustainable?
All of the materials in the Alpha Omega and Vegetarian Baby's DHA formulas are sustainably sourced.
They are non-GMO and hexane free.
And if you want proof- they are also certified by the America Vegetarian Association
Would you like to try a free bottle of each of these supplements for your family?
