Prospect Tea Variety Pack, Single Brewer Review and Giveaway
First off- I do not add anything to my teas, in general (unless I am making green tea lattes, but that will not be the case with these.)
Many of the descriptions of the teas on the Prospect site talk about how smooth and yummy they are with cream or honey or sugar.. meh. I want to taste the deliciousness that is the tea, and I will save the milk for my nasty freeze dried coffee that I drink sometimes.. lol.
(Maybe I need to sample the Prospect coffees next?)
I set off to try them all but it got to be hard to decide between trying new ones and drinking the ones I already tried that I loved..
Here are some of my tasting notes:
Duke Of Earl Grey- Delicious with a touch of the bergamot we all love in an Earl Grey. Not bitter. Nice.
Golden Dragon- I will admit that this was not my favorite. I liked it well enough when it was piping hot, but I did not enjoy the flavor quite as much when it was cooling. I guess the answer is to drink it fast.
Chamomile Chill- A nice smooth flavor with nothing you don't like. Great for pre bedtime chilling out, just like in the title.
Himalayan Spring- (peach oolong)- I really adored this one. I drank a few cups of this within a short period of time. Nice light peach and a smooth oolong experience.
Vanilla Chai- I saved the best for last. I adored this one. It was my favorite- it was also the first one I tried and I drank all the containers in the box the first day. HA! If I had to choose one flavor- this would be it.. of course, why choose when you can have a variety box?
Other flavors that are in the variety pack are:
Lemon Taxi, Graffiti Burst, Peppermint Heights, Brooklyn Breakfast, Green Power, Prospect Park, White Bengal.
All are delicious!
Thanks so much to the makers for letting us try the Prospect Tea Variety pack. We are enjoying it every day!
The folks at Prospect Tea want to give you a box of tea for your single brewer machine.
