PRO Compression Socks Review, Giveaway and 40% off coupon

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

I was recently asked to review a pair of PRO Compression Socks

I have worn compression socks in the past, but lost mine, so I was excited to have a new pair to try!

I was especially elated that these socks were made in the USA!

I really have a hard time with socks in general. I have extremely wide feet, I wear a size 12WW in shoes at the moment, and it is almost impossible to buy socks.

(Seems since I had my daughter my feet are longer, fatter and even wider than they were before.)

In addition to this, my feet are tall from the top of my foot to the shin. My feel have always been that way, even when I was on the thin side. My daughter is the same way!

So, when I was asked to pick a pair of socks to try, I got the biggest ones that were available.

I picked these, and I thought they were pretty cute. I also made sure not to get anything too girly, in case they didn't fit me- they would at least fit the man of the house, whose feet are long, but not as huge as mine all over.

Happily, the socks fit me! They are SO much better made than socks I have had in the past.

Can I also mention something- it seems every time I buy something like socks, or something with elastic, and it is made in China, I have to wash the item about 10 times to get out the weird chemical smell. I did NOT have that issue with these socks. At all.

They are thicker, feel like the stretch is better if that makes any sense- my legs are large but I can easily see these being fine for when they aren't as well. The stretch is perfect. It feels like my legs are getting a nice massage when I wear them.It gives me a bit of spring in my step!

I was informed that:

"Graduated compression is shown to help increase blood flow in the legs which helps reduce lactic acid and helps you to recover faster and feel less fatigue."

I can feel it!

I will say, I am not a runner. I think if I ran it would be pretty painful for me, as I have a lot of hip and knee issues at the moment. However, I do intend to do 2 other than normal every day things with these socks-

1- Airplane trip: we will be taking a flight sometime soon, and I usually do wear compression socks for this purpose. As I indicated- I have big feet so finding a pair of good socks to wear is impossible in stores. I have tried. So these are going to fit the bill perfectly. Keeping circulation while flying is important for everyone, especially on long trips.

2- Hockey- I play hockey (on hiatus at the moment) and I am always looking for the perfect socks to wear under my skates. I don't want to be barefoot, but I also cannot stand thick socks in my skates.

I am extremely particular about what I wear. If they pinch, bind or slide, I will have a miserable skate. I also need to have a pair of socks that cover my whole ankle, shin and calf, especially if I am playing in goal. I can never find socks long enough.  These felt pretty good, and I will be wearing them for hockey when I am back on the ice.

The folks at PRO Compression Socks want to share their awesome socks with you in 2 ways- first with a coupon:
