I have a fuzzy man that needs to shave. He has a raging neck beard, so I was happy to receive Barbershop Shave Soap Bar in a Jar to review.
However, all is not lost! I also have some furry legs in need of a close shave.
I decided to try the soap for myself.
First off, I want to say that I tried to use this with a toddler running loose in the hall next to the bathroom. This was all the soap I got on my leg before she decided to get weird and crawl into her Tummy Tub in the hall. Yea. A toddler is too big for that, so that did not end well. She is fine of course, just got scared when it tipped.
This was enough to let me shave my shin.On one leg. ( I went back later for more but without the camera.)
This has a clean scent that I appreciate a lot more than the foofy florals that ladies shave cream comes in.
I have really sensitive leg flesh, so shaving can be a horror show for me. I was a little nervous to try this soap.. but I did and was very pleased with the results. I was clean shaven- smooth and silky, with no nicks and bumps like I normally get.
I think I will be keeping this for myself, sorry dudes!
