Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.
I was recently asked to review a product from http://www.weareverincontinence.com/.
I will admit that I was not entirely in need of incontience products, but I wanted to take a look to give the site a chance. I was very pleased to see that they offered a variety of products, and one in particular that really interested me- knee high cotton socks.
I have the hardest time finding socks that fit me, let alone knee socks. Since I had my daughter, it has gotten worse. I have huge feet, they are wide and I have large calves these days. Most socks are just not right. These come in sizes, so I got the biggest ones 12- which is my shoe size.
I requested to review these socks- Buster Brown Knee High Cotton socks.
I got them in the mail, and was excited to try them. They looked incredibly long to me, but since I never get socks big enough, that was a good thing. They may have shrunk just a titch, and that is ok, as cotton socks do stretch back out a bit.
I put them on after applying some foot cream. I may not be diabetic, as these socks were intended, but my feet are as dry as someone with diabetes. The dryness and cracking runs in the family.
The socks felt great! They were a little tight in the calves at first, but they did loosen up. I would love to wear these with a nice pair of high boots, I think they would be perfect for that. They were a great layer for going to bed, as my feet and legs get very cold.
I had a flashback when I put these on. When I was a kid, I used to always wear white Buster Brown socks, and the feeling is the same. It has been a really long time since I have had a nice pair of cotton socks, and I was very impressed with these.
I did realize how dirty my floor is though! I need to get a review of some floor cleaners I think;)
Working with the website that stocks these- www.WeareverUS.com has been great. They sent me the socks in January, but I was impressed to know that during December they had a promotion to donate to a Diabetes foundation:
Support Defeat Diabetes Foundation with Wearever Purchases this December
A portion of proceeds from sales of select Wearever products will benefit nonprofit Defeat Diabetes Foundation this December. Wearever has partnered with Defeat Diabetes Foundation to raise funds that will further support the organization’s focus on the prevention, early identification and self-management of diabetes.
